INQUEST OPENED.

Fatal Motor Accident on West Coast. (Special to the “ Star.”) GREYMOUTH, October 27. An inquest was opened this afternoon before the Coroner, Mr W. Meldrum, into the circumstances surrounding the death of Charles Rugg, who was killed cn Sunday when his car fell over the Seventeen Mile Bluff on to the beach, a drop of approximately 500 feet. Evidence of identification was given by a cousin, John William Rothwell, and the inquest was adjourned until Tuesday next. Mr Rugg is survived by his parents, Mr and Mrs Charles Rugg (Hornby) and two sisters, Mrs' A. Stevenson (Hornby) and Mrs B. Wearn (Auckland). Mrs Rugg is suffering from concussion and shock, but her condition shows a slight improvement.
