ISLANDS SERVICES. TOFUA, from the Islands, arrived at Auckland yesterday morning. MORINDA, which left Sydney on October 8 for Lord Howe Island, Norfolk Island and Auckland, arrived at Auckland on Monday. HIKURANGI leaves Auckland on October 30 for Norfolk Island. COASTAL SHIPPING. STORM will call here to-morrow en route from Wanganui to Dunedin. WAIPAHI, due here to-morrow from Dunedin, via Oamaru and Timaru, will load for Napier and Gisborne. Tees left Wellington last evening for Dunedin, Oamaru and Timaru. She is due here on Saturday to load for Wellington, New Plymouth and Waikato. FOXTON Is expected to load here tomorrow for Foxton. OPIHI will now load at Lyttelton for Nelson and New Plymouth on November 5. WAIMARINO is engaged in loading at Lyttelton to-day for Picton, Wellington and Auckland. JOHN was an arrival at Lyttelton this morning from Timaru to load for Wellington, New Plymouth and Waikato. CANOPUS left Auckland last evening for Westport. WAIPIATA, from Auckland, via way ports, arrived this morning and is expected to leave this evening for Timaru. TASMAN AND PACIFIC. WAINUI, from Melbourne, via Bluff, is at Dunedin to-day and should arrive here to-morrow to unload and load for Australia. OVERSEAS VESSELS. PORT FAIRY arrived at Suva on Monday, and should arrive at Port Chalmers on Sunday next. lONIC, en route from London and Southampton to Auckland and Port Chalmers, arrived at Kingston, Jamaica, last Thursday. She is due at Auckland on November 19. RUAHINE, from London, via Southampton, is due at Auckland on Sunday. The vessel will also discharge at Napier and Wellington. PORT HUON, at present en route from London to Wellington, Lyttelton and Bluff, has been fixed to commence her Homeward loading during discharge at Bluff about November 24. She will subsequently complete at New Plymouth, Wanganui, Gisborne, Napier, Lyttelton and Wellington. The vessel is to clear Wellington finally on December 20 for London. PERSONAL. Mr A. L. Traill has relieved Mr T. S. Sampson as chief engineer on the KaPU Captain W. H. D. Gardner, after reporting from sick leave at Auckland, is resuming command of the Waimea. Captain J. L. Brisco is coming ashore for further orders. Messrs F. W. Young and J. E. Broughton joined the Maunganui as second and third officers at Sydney yesterday, relieving Messrs E. J. Deed and D. H. Richards for further instructions. Mr S. E. Gaskin recently relieved Mr C. H. M. Long, chief officer of the Karepo, for holidays. Mr J. W. Thomson has been appointed chief officer of the Kakariki, relieving Mr L. G. Ramsay for holidays. Mr C. R. Carlyon has joined the Kakariki, relieving Mr Bowman, third officer, for holidays. Mr H. M. Hughes is now third officer of the Wingatui, having relieved Mr L. R. Leeder for further orders. CANADIAN CONSTRUCTOR AT MONTREAL. CANADIAN CONSTRUCTOR, which left Bluff on August 22 for New York, Boston and Montreal 1 , via Panama, arrived at Montreal on Saturday morning. PORT GISBORNE AT LONDON. PORT GISBORNE, which left Wellington on September 19 for London, via Cape Horn, arrived at London on Sunday morning. PORT HUON LEAVES PANAMA.
