LYTTELTON COURT.

Mr H. A. Young, S.M., presided at a sitting of the Lyttelton Magistrate s Court this morning. Michael M’Guick was fined £1 and 10s costs for being found on licensed premises while prohibited. Charles O’Malley, employed on Public Works relief work. was proceeded against by the Education Department for the maintenance of three children. Defendant stated that he had another small girl whom he had to place m another home. After hearing evidence, arrangements were made for the father to pay 7s 6d weekly towards the maintenance of each child and a further 4s 6d towards the maintenance of the daughter, in addition to £3 a» past maintenance money.
