LORRY DRIVER KILLED.

Bridge Over Motueka River Gave Way. Per Press Association. NELSON, October 28. William Henry Wise, motor lorry driver, of Motueka, was killed at Pokororo yesterday afternoon. Wise was crossing the Pokororo swing bridge over the Motueka River when the cross beams of the bridge broke away. The lorrv fell twenty feet into four feet of water. Wise was pinned against the seat Respiratory measures failed and it was found that he had received fatal head injuries.
