HOSPITAL LADY VISITORS.

Monthly Meeting of Association is Held. The monthly meeting of the Hospital Lady Visitors’ Association was held at the Hospital, Mrs Hogg being in the chair and others present were: Mesdames Beals, Fleming, Stewart, Mere-dith-Kaye and Miss Julius. Reporting for the Library Sub-committee,' Mrs Pascoe said they would be glad of light novels and books of adventure, which were in great demand. For the Patients’ Occupational Work Committee Mrs Bartram reported twenty-five patients working, £1 Os lOd spent on raw material and 13s received from cash sales. During August sixteen patients were granted one week at the Rhodes Memorial Home, fifteen were given a second week, and one child was granted three weeks at the Cholmondeley Memorial Home. Ten garments were given to needy patients. The committee decided to propose at the annual meeting a grant of £lO to the Nurses’ Rest Cottage, the money to come out of the annual subscriptions.
