ACCUSED ADVISED TO GET BACK TO COUNTRY.
“ Get back to the country,” was the advice given by Mr E. D. Mosley, S.M., to William Thomas Brown, a farm labourer, aged 52, who appeared in the Magistrate’s Court to-day. The accused pleaded guilty to the theft of a bicycle, valued at £1 10s, the property of some person unknown, and alsp to being 'found on the enclosed premises of 3G4. St Asaph Street, on June IS. “ I’ll go back to the country right away if you give me a chance,” said the accused. “ I don’t want to get into scrapes.” On each charge, the accused was convicted and ordered to come up for sentence if called upon within six months.
