WEDDING.
VALLANCE—STILLWELL. The wedding was solemnised recently at St Paul's Church, Cashel Street, of Ruby Stillwell, of Woodham Road,' and Gladstone, only son of Mr Yallance, Rotherham Street, Riccarton. The Rev W. Bower Black officiated. The bride, who was given away by her brother, Mr Reg Stillwell, wore a becoming ankle-length frock of turquoise blue faconne georgette. Her hat was of felt and velvet to tone and she carried a bouquet of blue and white hot-house flowers. The bridesmaid, Miss Kathleen M'Nab (Akaroa) wore a dainty shell pink frick of French crepe-de-chine in early Victorian style and a picture hat of oink felt She carried a bouquet of pink carnal tions and chrysanthemums. Mr Sydney Williams attended the bridegroom as best man. A reception was held* at the FerryRoad Ilall, when over fifty guests were entertained. Mrs R. Stillwell received her guests wearing a bois-de-rose crepe-de-chine frock with hat to match. When Mr and Mrs Vallance left for the south on their wedding tour the latter was wearing a blue flecked niarocain froc.k under a navy blue coat with fox fur, collar and cuffs, anti a close fitting hat of blue velvet.
