HAGLEY CLUB. In a four-hall match between' Hagley and Avondale, played at Hagley this afternoon, the results were (Avondale players mentioned first): —Miller and Liglitband lost to Purdie and Rennie, Deighton and Preston lost to Wyn Irwin and Greenwood, Atkinson and Campbell squared with Johnstone and Ayres, Lewis and Birch beat Foley and Tyers, Martin and M’Gill lost to Poison and Fairelough, Boyes and Gordon beat Ross and Malpers. Ilagley won by 3J to 2*. Bogey Match. A bogey match was also played at Hagley. The following were the best cards returned:—C. T. Aschman (11), one down; J. R. Montgomery (12), two down; D. W. Russell (13), two down; J. Tipping (33), two down: T. W. Lewis (12), three down; J. C. Sheldon (14), four down; C. X. Haslam (14), four down. Junior Stroke Match.
