ALLEGES ACTIONISTS HAVE POLITICAL GRUDGE

The special Rome correspondent of “ Le Journal ” interviewed Signor Mussolini and asked what was the exact f>oint of friction >etween the Church anct State. Signor Mussolini replied: “At the head of the Catholic Actionists are failures and disgruntled members of the old Popular Party, who have a grudge against us over the orientation of their policy. The Vatican has
been put on its guard against the peril of this extreme policy, which may awaken anti-clericalism, the dormant existence of which is well known to the Vatican.”
