TIMARU SOCIAL NOTES.
Aliss Yarr (Wai-iti Road) is spending a few days in Christchurch. Aliss Peggy Chapman (Salisbury) is the guest of Airs G. Helmore (“Milbrooks,” Christchurch). Commander and Airs Steward (Sealy Street), have returned from a short visit to Christchurch. Airs F. Alilton (Orari), returned home yesterday after a visit to Airs L. Burns (“The Bungalow,” Wai-iti Road). Airs C. F. Hamilton and Airs Seddon (“Ashwick”), have returned to Fairlie after a few days spent in Timaru. Miss Sybil Lee (Otaki), who has been the guest of Airs Williams (Geraldine), arrived yesterday to be the guest of Airs W. H. Helmore (“Koromiko”). Miss Elena Helmore (“Koromiko,” Wai-iti Road) left yesterday to be the guest of Airs W. H. Orbell (The Levels). Aliss Barbara Pinckney (“Glenaray”), who is the guest of the Alisses Cox (Nile Street), will return to Christchurch to-day.
