NATIONALIST AND LABOUR MEN ARE UNSUCCESSFUL (United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) (Received June 19, 11.30 a.m.) SYDNEY, June 19. The Upper Hunter by-election resulted in a win for Mr Malcolm Brown (Independent -Country Party). Mr A. M'Mullen (Nationalist) polled over 1100 more primary votes than Mr Brown, but the latter secured 90 per cent, of the second preferences of Mr Forsyth (Labour). The by-election was the result of the death of Mr Cameron (Nationalist). The final figures were:— VOTES. Mr Brown 5922 Mr M’Mullen 5494
