NIAGARA is due at Auckland from Vancouver on February 22. To leave Auckland for Sydney on February 24. ISLAND SERVICES. MAUI POMARE sailed from Auckland yesterday for Niue Island and Apia. TEES ’.eft Lyttelton yesterday tor the Chatham s. TOFUA, which left Suva on February 6, arrived at Auckland on Monday. COASTAL SHIPPING. KIWITEA arrived at Lyttelton this morning from southern ports to load for Auckland. The vessel is expected to leave for the north to-morrow. CANOPUS arrived at Auckland yesterday morning from Westport. OPIHI was dispatched from Wellington last evening for New Plymouth. KUKU was expected to leave Wellington last night at nine o’clock for Nelson, Kaikoura and Lyttelton. Due here on Friday to load for a return trip. KAITOA is scheduled to return here on Friday to load for Nelson, Westport and Greymouth. BREEZE left Lyttelton yesterday afternoon for Dunedin and Bluff. The vessel is expected to return here on Tuesday to load for Wellington and Wanganui. WAINUI arrived from Timaru this morning to load for Napier, Auckland and Gisborne. STORM loads here 10-day for Wellington, Picton and Wanganui. GALE, from Timaru, i® an expected arrival here to-morrow to load for Wellington, Picton and Wanganui. The vessel will also load Blenheim, Seddon and Ward cargo. TASMAN AND PACIFIC. GOLDEN CLOUD arrived at Dunedin yesterday morning from Timaru to complete unloading her cargo of lumber and general Pacific Coast cargo. The vessel proceeds from Dunedin to SydMIRRABOOK A, from Pacific Coast ports, made her departure from Wellington yesterday for New Plymouth and Australian ports. HALERIC, from Auckland via Wellington, arrived at Lyttelton to-day to continue unloading of San Pedro cargo. HAURAKI proceeded to Wellington yesterday from Lyttelton. The vessel will also call at New Plymouth, Auckland. Napier and Australia to continue her unloading of Pacific Coast cargo. WAIHEMO is timed to leave Los Angeles to-day for Auckland, Wellington, Nelson, Bluff and Australia. INNAREN loads at South Africa during the middle of March for Auckland and Wellington. KARTIOI loads at Adelaide in March, and completes at Melbourne for Auckland and Dunedin. PARRAKOOLA leaves Los Angeles to-day for Auckland and Wellington. Due at Auckland on March 8. TOLKEN will be despatched from Los Angeles on March S for Auckland and Wellington. Due at Auckland on April 3. OVERSEAS VESSELS. HERMINIUS left Lyttelton yesterday afternoon for Port Chalmers, Timaru, Wanganui and Wellington. To leave Wellington for the United Kingdom on March 3 for London and West of England ports. ZEALAXDIC left Lyttelton yesterday for Bluff. The vessel will complete loading at Bluff, and sails from that port for London, via Panama. PORT PIRIE, now at Wellington discharging New York cargo, is due at Lyttelton on Friday. MAHANA is scheduled to leave London to-day for Port Chalmers, Lyttelton and Hawke’s Bay. Due at Port Chalmers about April 1. MAHIA leaves Liverpool on February 28 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Bluff. Due at Auckland on April 7. PORT HUNTER loads at London next month, and leaves on March 11 for Auckland and Wellington. TONGARIRO now leaves Liverpool on March 28 for Auckland, Hawke’s Bay, Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru and Dunedin. Due at Auckland on April 27. ARMADALE, en route from New York, reports by wireless that she expects to arrive at Auckland on February 22. CUMBERLAND is due here on February 26 from Bluff for loading to the agency of the New Zealand Shipping

Company, Ltd. She will load also at Wellington, Wanganui and Napier, and is to sail from Napier on March 6 for London, via Panama and Curacao. NORTHUMBERLAND is to sail from Wellington on Thursday for London and West of England ports. RUAHINE is due at Wellington on Friday from Napier to complete loading for Southampton and London, via Pitcairh and Panama. PERSONAL. Mr H. Evington is relieving Mr T. E. Bevan, chief officer of the, Opihi, for further instructions. Mr C. T. • Robb, recently second officer of the Wairuna, is on holiday leave. Mr C. G. Hill, late second officer of the Kakariki, arrived from Sydney yesterday, and is waiting instructions. Captain J. W. Johnson retains command of the Maimoa, which is due at Auckland on February 25. THE PORT ALMA. PORT ALMA, en route from London to New Zealand, was to leave Suva yesterday for Port Chalmers, where she is due on Monday. ROTORUA AT LONDON. ROTORUA, which left Port Chalmers on January 10 for London, via Panama, arrived at London on February 15. She leaves Southampton again on April 3 for Wellington (passengers only), Lyttelton, Port Chalmers and Bluff, and is due at Wellington about May 19. MAIMOA REPORTS. MAIMOA, en route from Liverpool, reports by wireless that she expects to arrive at Auckland on the morning of February 25. ULIMAROA'S TRANSHIPMENTS. ULIMAROA, which arrived at Wellington yesterday morning from Sydney, included in her cargo transhipments from the following vessels: Kamo Maru, Nieuw Holland, Baradine, Nalgora, St Albans, Oronte®, Goulbtirn, Mongolia, Taiping and Esquillino. OTOKIA DUE FRIDAY. The Union Company’s tanker Otokia, en route from San Bedro, reports that she should arrive at Wellington on Friday afternoon. RANGITATA AGAIN REPORTS. The motor liner Rangitata, en route from Southampton, reports by wireless that she now expects to arrive at Auckland at 8 p.m. to-morrow. TEKOA LEAVES PANAMA. TEKOA arrived at Panama On February 13, and sailed the same day in continuation of her voyage to New Zealand. She is en route from Liverpool in ballast, and should be at Wellington about March 8. SOMERSET LEAVES CARACAS BAY. SOMERSET, en route from London, sailed from Caracas Bay on February 14. She is due at Lyttelton about March 9. TEES FOR CHATHAMS. The Chatham Island steamer Tees left Lyttelton last night for Waitangi. The vessel took the following passengers to the rslahds:—Misses David and Cook, Mesdames Gubbins, Lemlnane, North, Lee and Weisner, Messrs Gubbins, North, Reardon, Gentle®, Laraauze, N. Mitchell, O. Mitchell, Hutchinson, Cannon and H. J. Wliatiri. MAHENO DUE TO-MORROW. The intercolonial passenger steamer Maheno is due at Lyttelton to-morrow morning from Dunedin to discharge a quantity of Melbourne cargo. The vessel will sail in the evening for Wellington, Bluff and Melbourne on the arrival of the 7.45 p.m. train from Christchurch. MAUT POMARE FOR NIUE ISLAND. The Government motor ship Maui Pomare was dispatched from Auckland yesterday afternoon for Apia, via Niue Island. She will load at Apia and Niue for Dunedin and Lyttelton. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS.
