RIOTOUS SCENES AT BARCELONA UNIVERSITY.

The British United Press correspondent at Barcelona reports that an ugly incident occurred at the university. Four hundred students in the quadrangle, after listening to inflammatory anti-monarchical speeches, broke down the main door and destroyed the furniniture and paintings. carried out Alfonsos portrait in oils and burned it in the street. The police placed a cordon round the area. The rector has closed the university indefinitely.
