New taxation proposals introduced in the Assembly by the Latiour Premier, Mr Hill, include increased income and land tax, a tax on dividends, irrespec tive of the country, in which they are earned, a flat tax of £2 10s on all per sons whose incomes exceed £IOO and taxation of the profits made by cooperative .societies.
