PLOUGHMAN KILLED WHEN TRACTOR FELL.

TE AROHA, October 14.
John Elliot Chirney, single, aged twenty, was ploughing by a tractor on Peterson Bros.’ farm at Hungahunga, nine miles from Te Aroha, yesterday, when his machine overturned, crushing his chest and causing instantaneous death. The machine had got into soft ground, and deceased was trying to reverse when the accident occurred.
