LIBERTY THEATRE HAS DOUBLE-FEATURE BILL.
" The Big Party ” will be shown f,or the last time to-night at Liberty Theatre. . A continuation of the popular policy of presenting twice, daily a double feature programme will' be In force at Liberty Theatre next week. ' Conquest,” an all-talking picture from the novel, ” The Candle in the Wind,” heads tho bill, followed by Ken Maynard in " Parade of the West,” and a selection of short talking, and musical films. In •* Conquest ” one Has wfiat Is'found only too infrequently in pictures these days, a cast of really- excellent performers, splendid story aqd plot- interest, faultless reproduction of speech and sound, and some, remarkable photography in the air and- on .laud. Monte -Blue and H. B. Warner are cast as two Polar exploring aviators. The second picture, “Parade of the West,” makes exciting fare, a fast-moving and colourful. story of days in the old West. His horse, Tarzan, and that other remarkable animal, Rex, support Ken Maynard, as does Miss Gladys M’Conriell. Altogether a most varied and entertaining programme for the critical eye and ear.
