ANGLER LANDS TWENTYPOUNDER AT THE SELWYN

The biggest trout landed in Canterbury for a number of years was caught at the Number 2 Selwyn during the week-end. One of a bag of seven caught by Mr W. D. Berry, weighed 20 pounds. It was taken at night on a large fly under water. Kir D. Hope, curator of the Acclimatisation Gardens, who is a noted tavidermist, will skin and set the fish up. Mr Berry’s bag was one of many good ones taken at the Lake over the week-end.
