ST JOSEPH’S CLUB DANCE.
The dance arranged by members oi St Joseph’s Club in aid of the school building fund was held on Saturday evening last in the Gaiety Hall. Papanui. The music was supplied by Stan Griffin and his band extras being play ed by Miss Mae Heaphy and Mr Eric Earl. Miss Lilian Heaphy and Mr Bruce Woods won the Monte Carlo one step, and Miss Ida Grofski and Mr Eric Nee the lucky spot waltz The duties of M.C.’s were carried out by Messrs L. Ashby and J. T. Burke. Amongst the ladies present were:— Mesdames Lynskey, Smith, A. Moran, Neville, Lawlor, Schimanski, Maher, W. Eady, and F. S.
