CORRESPONDENCE.

BATHING ACCIDENT AT BRIGHTON.

To the Editor.

Dear Sir,—ln reference to the bathing accident at New Brighton on Sunda}- last, your report is not correct. The rescue was due to the promptness of two young fellows who were bathing near by. One of them I did not know, but the other was Douglas Cox. Certainly the life savers arrived, but the boy and girl had then been brought practically to land. Therefore, I think honour should be given where honour is due.—l am, etc., EYE-WITNESS.
