ASHBURTON’S NEW “PUB.”
“ This will be our last meeting: before Christmas, so I wish you and the other members of the board the best of Christmas cheer,” said MrW.J. Walter, in addressing the chairman, Mr E. Galbraith (Ashburton), at to-day’s meeting of the Lyttelton Harbour Board. Captain Munro: I think that the chairman should be congratulated also upon Ashburton’s new “pub.”
