SUCCESSOR TO MR RUMCIMAN PICKED BY LIBERAL PARTY.

The Liberal executive recommends Mr Clive Baillieu as a prospective candidate to succeed the Right Hon Walter Runciman, who is retiring at the general election. —Aust. and N.Z. United Service. Mr Runciman won the Swansea West seat at the last election with-a majority of 845. He was opposed by Labour and Conservative candidates.
