POLICE DISGUISED AS PAIR OF LOVERS.

LONDON, February 10. In order to arrest a wanted man at Aberdare, two local policemen adopted the part of a courting couple. One dressed as a railwayman and the other as a woman, and arrested the man as he pisesd after a struggle. The man, George Twaites, had been wanted since Christinas Eve, when he is alleged to have escaped from custody by striking a constable at the doorstep of the police station. He was charged yesterday with stealing a suit of clothes from a house at Mountain Ash, and remanded.
