SHIPPING NOTES. Wingatui, which left Wellington at 8.45 p.m., on Wednesday, is due here today. The vessel proceeds from Lyttelton to Dunedin and is expected to return here about July 20. Totara is now expected here from Wellington to-morrow to load for Wellington and New Plymouth. Holm dale should now arrive at Lyttelton from Timaru on Sunday to load for Wellington and Wanganui on Monday. The vessel has been delayed in the south. Maunganui is timed to sail from Auckland for Sydney on July 19. Port Pirie is expected to sail from Wellington for Tendon via Panama today or to-morrow. Kamo was an arrival at Lyttelton from southern ports to load for Wellington, Napier and Gisborne. The \ easel was unable to be worked yesterday on account of wet weather. Storm was held up in Lyttelton yesterday all day by wet weather. She is timed to sail to-day for Dunedin and. Timaru. The vessel should return hero on Wednesday for Wellington, and Pieton. Calm is due to-morrow from Wellington. The vessel is expected to soil th<- same evening for Bluff, Dunedin and Timaru. Breeze was at Wanganui yesterday and should arrive at Wellington to-mor-row. She is timed to load hero on Monday for Dunedin and Timaru. Gale from Timaru is expected here 1.0-day for loading. She should sail for Wellington and Wanganui this evening. Waihemo was dispatched from Lyttelton last evening for Dunedin, where she will continue her discharging of isau Francisco cargo. Ikala, from Montreal, left Newport , News, June 17. for Auckland, Wellington, Dunedin, Melbourne, and Sydney. Captain A. H. Howie (Corinna) is 1 asliore on sick leave, and Captain H. A. Lowe has been transferred from the ' Opihi in his place. ■Sir A. B\ Inman* late chief officer of the Maheno, is at present acting-master of the Opihi. Mr N. M. Bonetti, late chief officer of the Kurow, has transferred to the Whangape, relieving Mr It. Duncan for holidays. Kartigl, from Adelaide, Wallaroo and Stanley is to sail to-day for New Zealand. She has cargo for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. Mamari is expected at Wellington today or to-morrow to complete her loading for London. , The vessel will make the trip Home via Cape Horn. Mataroa, which sailed from Wellington on June 4, arrived at Southampton on Monday afternoon. lonic leaves Port Chalmers to-day for Bluff to complete discharge and commence loading. She will complete at Lyttelton and Wellington. She Is due here on July 22. The lonic is timed to sail from Wellington on July 31 for Southampton and London via Panama. Athenic was to have left Wellington yesterday, for Napier, Waikokopu. Gisborne, fokomaru Bay and Auckland, is to sail from Auckland on July 30 for Southampton and London via Panama. Westmorland sailed from Liverpool on Monday with cargo for Auckland, Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton and Port Chalmers.
