Two parties of Maltese, who are believed to have been recruited for work at the South Johnstone sugar mills, were severely manhandled by forty pickets when the train on which they were travelling stopped at Currajah. The one policeman present was powerless. The Maltese were badly Flattered and had to receive medical attention. Otherwise the situation is quiet, and the mill continues to crush.
