DIPLOMA BALL.

The annual diploma ball was held in the Canterbury College Hall last night, and was very largely attended. The hall -was hung with the late Mr J. W. Jamieson’s collection of pictures and engravings, which are housed there pending the building of a suitable art gallery. The lights were shaded w.th quaint yellow shades, and a row of pot plants was placed along the stage, which was furnished as a lounge. Bailey’s Band provided the music.
