HEAVY FINES INFLICTED IN ORMONDVILLE COURT. Per Press Association. DAXNEYIRKE. February 26. In the Ormondville Magistrate’s Court three defendants, Basil Ellingham, Donovan Edgecombe, and Hector Olsen, for taking trout by other means than with rod and line, and for fishing without a license. were each fined £8 with costs, bringing the total which each defendant had to pay to £ll 6s 6d. Ilis Worship said if poaching continued h cwould inflict higher fines in future if deserved.
