A meeting of the London Board of the New Zealand Sheepowners’ Fund reported that the trustees’ grant of £30,000 for the relief of distressed families of seamen in Britain is almost exhausted. The board is limiting its work to migration. Its estimates for the year ending March 31, 1928, provide £677,700 for the purchase of Australian zinc concentrates and £1,540,000 for overseas setilement.
