MOST PERFECT BODY POSSESSED BY AIRMAN.

MEETS DEATH IN CHANNEL CRASH. LONDON, June 6. “ The most perfect body I ever saw. It might have been a copy of some old Greek sculpture,” was an East London police surgeon’s opinion of the body of the French airman Demasin, who was drownin a Channel crash. Every organ, including the brain, was without a blemish. Demasin was twenty-eight years old, married, a Knight of the Legion of Honour and a grand swimmer. The coroner said he evidently fought desperately for life, as he had taken off his boots and some of his .clothing. A lightship saw the accident, but a heavy storm prevented a rescue.
