When a Wanganui sheep farmer was asked last week why he had prohibited shooting over his property he stated that it was not on account of any love for the deer or pigs running there but for the sake of his employees. One employee was under a continuous fusillade for about two hours recently, and was afraid to move in case of becoming a victi mof a sportsman's rifle.
