HADN’T SEEN HER HUSBAND IN 8 YEARS.
A triple charge of drunkenness, procuring liqour during the currency of a prohibition order and being found on the licensed premises of the Occidental Hotel during the currency of a prohibition order was preferred against Marget Cecelia Hansbury, aged 34, at the Magistrate’s Court this morning. Mr IT. Y. Widdowson, S.M., was on * the Bench. Sub-Inspector Mathew said that ac- j cused had gone to the Occidental Hotel 1 last night and demanded liquor. As she would not leave when ordered to ' do so by the licensee, she was arrested. “Give me a chance, your Worship,” Hansbury. “I want to get my money and leave for the '.'oast. I've npvpr had no luck since I got here. My husband is in town and I’ve not acen him for eight years. Gi\*e me a ahanee and I’ll go back to the Coast.” A fine of 20s, in default 48 hours’ imprisonment, was imposed on the drunkenness charge and a fine of 40s. in default 7 days’, was imposed on each of the other charges, the sentences to be cumulative, /
