Per Press Association. AUCKLAND. May 4. There is no immediate prospect of a settlement of the strike at the Glen Afton collieries, and "the management is removing the electric motors to the surface, preparatory to sealing the mine entrance. The miners were given until noon to-day to remove their tools. The company has confirmed its previous decision, that the men must return to work before further negotiations can be considered. , A meeting -cf the men will be held at Iluntly to-dav.
