Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, May 4. A charge of incurring a debt of £3 10s by fraud in Dunedin last September was preferred against William Edward Walker in the Police Court. Chief Detective Cummings said that accused obtained board on representation that he had been employed. by the Christchurch Tramway Company and had been transferred to Dunedin. The statement was false. He -was now serving a long sentence for another offence. The Magistrate (Mr Hunt) said that under the circumstances accused would be convicted and discharged-
