TYRE BLEW OUT, AND MOTOR WENT OVER ON SIDE.

. A peculiar accident happened on Papanui Road near Jnnes's Road this morning to a light delivery Ford van owned by Mr O, P. Taigcl. J„ avoiding some traffic, the driver swerved and the back tyre blew off, sending the tar completely over on its side. The windshield was smashed, and the mudguards and lamps suffered. The driver although thrown out, escaped with nothing worse than a cut hand. Willing hands righted the vehicle, an I soon nothing was left to mark the accident but a large oil mark on the road.
