NO CRICKET PLAYED AT LEICESTER, OWING TO RAIN.

An overnight drizzle developed into a heavy fall in the morning, which continued till noon, by which time the ground was sodden. After an inspection at 3.30 it was decided that the pitch was unfit for play.
