PICTURE SHOW BURNS TO THE GROUND.

Per Press Association. 3. An outbreak of fire occurred at a country picture show at Tekaraka on Saturday night, shortly after the interval. The hall in which the pictures were being shown was destroyed. A piece of film caught in the gate of the machine and when Mr Powell, the operator, went to extinguish the flames another film caught alight, the fire thereafter spreading rapidly. Mr Powell was slightly burned about the head and hands.
