MALE VOICE CHOIR.

The Christchurch Male Voice Choir season opens on Thursday and Saturday next in the Choral Hall, under Dr J. C. Bradshaw. A good programme has been arranged, the objective being to show the capability of the choir, and to mark the advent of the new season by the presentation of items of exceptional merit. All of the concerted numbers by the men will be unaccompanied, and those in which the boys of the Cathedral sing the soprano :->arts will also be unaccompanied. The r>oys alone will render two items, the soloist being Master J. Joynt. Several members will be entirely new to Christchurch. Assisting artists will be Miss Millicent Jennings (mezzo soprano), Mr Harold Beck (violoncello), while, representing the choir as soloist, will be Mr Harry Heatley (baritone).
