BRITISH PICTURE AT CRYSTAL PALACE.

That the old-time romance of the West still has a strong fascination was demonstrated at Greater Crystal Palace last night, when the magnificent wild country of the West provided a setting for an excellent picture story, “ A Son of his Father,”

containing every requisite to please patrons of picture theatres. The supporting picture is “ The Woman who Obeyed." This is a British picture, produced in British studios, with British players and a setting in England. In the selection of the players, as well as in the setting and the directing, care has been taken to make this problem story all it should be from the picture’s point of view. The Symphony Orchestra’s programme was bright and interesting.
