The geogaphical position of .Wellington has determined the habitajit for this year, followed by Auckland in 1927 and Dunedin in 1925. i Other matters such as Finance, Revision of Rules and general business of the Order occupied the close attention of delegates during ten sessibns. On the evening of the 7th an important exaltation took place in the Tua Toru Lodge, the occasion being the raisings to the R.O.H. degree of Brothers <’. W. Jones. K.0.M., P.G.F., and G. A. Denning, K.0.M., P.P.G.P. The exalting officer was Brother A. D. Pickard, R.0.H., assisted by Brother F. 11. Bat hie. K.0.M., as Master of Ceremonies. Brother A. E. Pountenay R.0.H., and Brother D. S. Jones. R.0.H.. were the sponsors, who supported Brother C. W. Jones, R.O.H. elect, whilst Brother 33. E. Lacey, R.0.H.. and Brother A. J). Parsonage, R.0.H., acted in a like capacity for Brother G. A. Denning. R.O.H. elect. First Degree Brothers acted as swordbearers to that Degree, Primes as sword-bearers to' the Second Degee, members of the Wellington Knights Chapter.as sword-bearers in the Third Degree, and R.O.H.'s in their degree. The bearer of the jewels was Brother IT. G. Penny, K.O.M. The usual toasts were honoured, and the President <»t the Convention, Brother A. D. Pickard, R.0.H., Grand Prime, closed the proceedings at 6 p.m. on Thursday. The next triennial convention will he held at Christchurch in 1929.
