FOR the second time since his expedition has been fairly under way, C aptain George ... ! Wilkins, the
Australian aviaior - explorer, is reporled missing. For over a week no word has been heard of him or li i s companion, I. i e u t . Eielsen. They flew north from Fairbanks,
Alaska, to Point Barrow, in the aeroplane Alaskan. Cables yesterday stated that the second ’plane, the Detroiter, had set out in search of them, flying at a speed of 100 miles an hour, but bad had to return after reaching the Arctic Circle as the engine began to give trouble.
