HORSES WARM UP FOR HASTINGS MEETING.
Per Press Association. HASTINGS, April 29. The weather was fine for training operations on the Hastings tracks this morning. anrl some good gallops were registered before breakfast. Rapine did six furlongs on the plough. Star Stranger went a mile in lmin 40 sec. Ueremoana. working by himself, covered five furlongs in lmin 3se«-. Grand Knight did a couple of circuits. Automne and Lady Joyce together went once round at a fast clip.. Kahumanu was first out after breakfast, going two rounds on the outside of the course propel-, finishing up the last three furlongs at top. ijyneral Carrington and Jubilee together went two circuits. Wilinoreana was sent once round at a solid pace. Plain Sailing went a circuit, sprinting home over the last four. Serenade and Vivo hopped <?ff at the four furlongs, cutting out the distance in 52 2-ssec. finishing together. Killoch. going well, went once round in lmin 41 2-ssee. Suspicion and Coot did a useful gallop of one round on the lower plough. Royal Damon was restricted to half River and Hillation did six furlongs itt lmin 18sec, Little River finishing well in front. Peneus, with M. M’Carten up, sprinted half a mile in 4S 2-ssec. Glentruin was restricted to half pace, doing a couple of circuits. Hiikuwai and Caiuma did half a milo in 50 sec. finishing together. Gaze and Malafour went once round at top, Gaze finishing well in front. Egyptian Flower did a couple of circuits, sprinting home over the last Vlaurangi went well over n circuit.
