Messrs C. L. Hughes, J. R. Perry and T. G. Hunter (Wellington), F. Lincoln (Auckland) and J. K. G. War (London) are at the Clarendon Hotel. According to Dr O'Reilly, rector of St John’s College, Sydney, nuns have proved the best students at the University. The doctor said that their appearance occasioned surprise when they commenced at the University, but the greater surprise was manifest when they proved themselves such brilliant scholars.
