WHERE DUNEDIN HAS STRUCK A GOLDMINE.
“ The Exhibition practically means a goldmine for the Dunedin trams,” Mr F, Thompson, general manager of the Christchurch Tramways, said to-day. Mr Thompson haa returned from a visit to Dunedin. He explained that
much packing of cars is a factor in the successful operation of trams from the financial point of view. lie said that it seldom occurs in Christchurch, and that he did not think that Christchurch people would for a moment stand the overcrowding that takes place now in Dunedin.
