Per Tress Association. OAMARU, April 2S The Grand National Art Union was drawn last night. The total receipts were £48.000 and the net profit is about £26.000. divided as follows: Oamaru Jockey Club and Trotting Club. £7500 each. Golf Club. £62.50. Kurow Jockey Club and Oamaru Friendly Society and Bay Society. £1875 each. The first prize of 3000 guineas was won by Alexander Thompson, of Tangaini, Wairoa; the second of £350 by Edgar A. Hodson. of Wanganui: and the third of £IOO by FI. S. Smith, of Papatoetoe.
