MISSIONARY WORK.

Per Press Association. DUNEDIN, April 27. The first Dominion inter-denomina-tional missionary conference opened this morning. Professor Hewitson (Principal of Knox College) presiding over an attendance of 150 delegates, representing all societies engaged in missionary work in New Zealand. Professor Hewitson said that if they recognised in this missionary work they had one foundation, and were one body, they would not be troubled by any denominational differences. “The Present Advantageous Position of the World wide Christian Movement” .was the subject of an address by Dr Mott. Archdeacon Williams spoke on “The Maori and Christianity.”
