In the classrooms at Tawhere School are various mottos and illustrations for the benefit of the plastic mind. An appropriate one is in regard to the common house fly. A picture shows a big business-like fly from underneath the text: “Straight from the rubbish heap I come, I never wash mv feet. Then on the table clean 1 crawl upon the things you eat.”
