Pi;it Press Association. PALMERSTON A . April 29. At the inquest on Clive Tweeddale, aged 22 who died of injuries after he was knocked down by a motor-car on Monday evening evidence showed that ho was* deaf and failed to observe ihc approach of a motor-car whose lights were dimmed approaching a railwaycrossing. The visibility was bail and the motorist was on the look-out for a train and did not see Tweed dale until lie was upon him. The Coroner said that the fatality was a pure ace idem.. The motorist was driving carefully. He stressed the need for exercising caution in crossing a road, especially at night.
