CONFIDENCE TRICK ALLEGED.

Per Press Association. PALMERSTON N, April 29. Din holm Gillespie, a young man, •was charged at the Police Court with the theft of £7O from the person of Stanley Gibson. Flo was remanded till Friday. It is alleged that the accused was one of a party who were said to have worked a confidence trick on the esplanade in February. Later ho disappeared to Australia, but was sent back to the Dominion from the Commonwealth and arrested on arrival of the Ulimaroa at Wellington.
