RACING SENSATION.

ALLEGED “ RING IN.” WORD FROM VICTORIA. SYDNEY. April 23. Following the Eulo ringing-in case, another, which will astonish Australian racegoers even more than that one, is likely to have some light thrown upon it shortly. Mr Frank Howell, the secretary of tire N.S.W. Trotting Club, has been wondering for some time where a topnotch Sydney performer went to. He has been in communication with various trotting bodies, and is now confident he has located it. He has received word from the Victorian Racing and Trotting Association to the effect that it has detained a horse that has won several events recently in Victoria, and it. has reason to believe it is the horse Mr Ilowell is trying to trace. Jf so, it has been running, and winning in a 2min 40see class, and has a record of less than 2min 20sec in Sydney. The Victorian authorities will detain the horse until witnesses are sent over to examine it.
