Serious complaints have been made by the second-class passengers of the steamer Mishima Maru, which arrived in Sydney from Japan, concerning the conduct of a party of forty Maoris on board, who, it is stated, dominated the second-class accommodation, and on two occasions assaulted other passengers. On arrival at Sydney a letter of complaint was forwarded to the shipping master's office.
