Andrews was ordered to pay William* Berryman the sum of £4 16s 6d, in default four days’ imprisonment. TENANCY. Peter limes was ordered to give up possession of a tenement on or before April 26. Judgment was given for the plaintiff for £7 rent. CLAIM FAILS. Aleck Jarden. labourer, of Heathcote, claimed from A. J. Horniblow, taxi-driver. Mack worth Street. the sum of £52 Is. as special and general ■ damages sustained by him through being knocked off his cycle by the defendant, whom he alleged was driving his car negligently. In his evidence the plaintiff was unable to be as specific as was necessary, and judgment was given for the defendant with costs. NOT ENOUGH AIR. G. W. Bailey (Mr C. S. Thomas) was fined 40s for failing to provide sleeping accommodation in accordance with the threshing mill workers’ award. O’Callaghan Bros. Yaklhurst, also were fined 40s for the same, offence.
